Family

1 Corinthians 13: 4-7

4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Family Sillyness

This is our middle sons wedding day after all the hoopla was over we decided to take a silly picture. Each of us is different, not one of us is perfect, but we embrace and work at understanding each other better through those differences, the imperfections and the sillyness.

Family is so important. There are so many people in this world that do not know what a healthy family relationship is.... but when you do, it is irreplaceable and you will work hard to keep it. When you can look past each others faults, be there for one another when someones in need. Spend time laughing together. A good marriage is a sparse thing these days a good family relationship is even more difficult to find. If you did not grow up having a good family relationship, it is not to late. You have the ability to change that with your family. You can make that decision right now. Pray about your family, for every aspect of their lives. Make moments together that are special, keep your word and be there for your family when they need you. Many people use the world "Love" in the verse above where ever its says "Charity." Love suffereth long, and is kind; Love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up.... and so on. Apply this to your daily life and your family. My hope is that every family can learn to do this because it makes life so much richer!!!
